I Wrote the Guide I Wish I Could Hand Every Worried Parent

Last week, a mum in my therapy room whispered, "Is my son behind?"

She had been Googling at 2 a.m. for a month. She had compared her son to every child at the playground. She had read ten articles that all said something different, and she left every one of them feeling worse.

I didn't have a simple thing to hand her in that moment — something that said, here's what to look for, here's what's normal, here's what to do next. So I wrote it.

"Is My Toddler On Track?" is a developmental therapist's guide to milestones, red flags, and what to do next, for ages 1 to 3. Inside you'll find milestone checklists for 12, 18, 24, and 36 months, red flags explained calmly and without scare tactics, a clear guide to when to relax and when to act, the exact words to say to your paediatrician if you're worried, 15 simple play activities that build skills, and a one-page reference you can stick on the fridge.

It is the guide I give parents in my living room — warmly, plainly, and without rushing you to worry.

It's $19, and you can download it right now. Get the guide: https://parentvoice.gumroad.com/l/bfpgub

If you know a parent who is doing the 2 a.m. Googling, send this to them. Noticing isn't worrying too much. Noticing is parenting — and noticing early is the best gift you can give your child.
